I do not see a swapshop here so I am asking for a book here.
It is called "the complete DXer by bob Lochner W9KNI.
Do you know where I can find one at a reasonable price?

Try the classifieds, they have a Book section and a Wanted section.

BLB, I see copies of _The complete DXer_ at hamfests, used, pretty often.

Personally, it is my all-time favorite ham-radio book; reading a used copy of the first edition taught me darned near all I know about DXing.  (Which still isn't MUCH, but that's not W9KNI's fault.)   ;-)

It's a great book--written simply and clearly, with lots of great examples of DX tips in action.  It's fun to read even after you've read it a dozen times.   Keep your eyes open and you can pick up a used copy at a hamfest.   Reading it is the best single thing a new ham can do to learn the ancient art of DXing!    GL 73

Probably any used ones your going to find will be a previous edition. I would suggest you get the latest edition. It isn't expensive and you'll probably spend some $$$ for a good used copy anyway.

This reminds me--when I heard there was a new (3rd) edition out, a few years ago, I ordered it via the Idiom Press website.  When it arrived, I found that W9KNI had signed it--a pleasant surprise.  :-)
