Contesting and DX as maritime mobile

I'm a full time maritime mobile and currently operating from Mexico.

Can stations work me as a valid DX entity?

Am I operating as-if I am a DX entity as well, or am I basically a contact for others?

I've been creating new LOTW location entries for each anchorage\city we go to. Is that the right way to go and how will that affect me later when I'm adding up contacts for the bigger awards.

Yes they can work you however many contests you will only be classed as a normal station working from the country whose waters you are in, not /MM. There are specific contests where you can get extra points for working /MM stations.

Do you know offhand what contests have special targeting of MMs? I'd love to hear more about that!

Another question I have is how I'm viewed as far as my station. If I work a state or a DX Entity from one location would that count long-term towards a WAS or DXCC or do I start over every-time I move?

for the ARRL DXCC award, all of the entities must be worked from the same DXCC entity.

Not sure about WAS.

Since i'm maritime mobile in Mexico, the CQ 160M SSB contest this weekend would value me at 10 points for a non-XE Ham and even more for non-North Americab hams.
