I have plans to put up a mast in back of my house, and I have a pretty good idea of how it will go together. I want to put my homebrew 220 mhz beam near the top, with the 440 mhz and 900 mhz beams mounted below it, one on either side of the mast. Of course I intend to use only one beam at a time when I operate, but how far apart should I space the 440 and 900 mhz beams from the mast and the 220 beam?

This depends whether they are vertically or horizontally polarized.  You didn't say.

I would also suggest the 220 beam on bottom and not just for wind loading but rather 440 and 900 would befit more from the extra 5 or 6 feet than 220 will.

Horizontal polarization will give you less wind resistance also, but that might not be what you have in mind for repeater use. At these high frequencies, you can easily place them a wavelength apart, which should be more than adequate. Wink
