My company is currently working on a technology that would prohibit any mobile phone from dialing any number except 911, while it's moving more than 10MPH.

Has your company heard of automobile, bus and train passengersAngry

A perfect example of coming up with an idea and trying to implement it without thinking things through!

why not add a clause which provides an exception for radio operation by FCC licensed operators to any legislation outlawing the use of cell phones while driving a motor vehicle?

if it helped them be okay with it, they could even add a few exam questions on 'driving safety and radio operation' in the next license exam pool update...

maybe we need a Ham Radio SuperPac LOL

A great example of Gub'mint 'helping the people', while destroying their lives.

here in Oregon we have a new law that takes away your right to have your car parked in a parking lot, running, the lights on, and talking on the cell phone cost a friend 175 for doing it in a Walmart parking lot on the coast.  Now that is one for the books.

Only moonbats (that's what we call ultra liberals in Massachusetts) think that COMMON SENSE can be applied and stupidity can be eliminated by laws that are difficult to enforce.  We are in big trouble if we continue on that trend.
