I want to turn a small 6M yagi with a TV rotor. What is the closest that I can (should) install the rotor to the yagi? Would prefer to put the rotor right at the bottom of the yagi but have no idea if it will interfer with the yagi's performance. The yagi will be horizontal BTW.

Thanks
Zack

I had my Diamond 2 Element mounted about 3 in above my tv rotor and never had any issue's. I had a 2 mtr 5 element also on the same mast about 5' above the 6mtr.

6m is by no means critical. You will not see any problems.
