Receive Only Frequencies on ICOM-730

[AH6TX]

 I own a ICOM-730 and there are three frequency that are set for receive only. 30 Meters, 17 Meters and 12 Meters.
I was wondering if someone knows if this can be modified to be able to transmit on these frequencies since the radio
was built in the 1980's.

If so please send over the info and or if you know where I might find out that would be great.

I think that rig was built in the time after they new we were getting the WARC bands, but were not yet legal.  So they made it the "cut the green wire mod" to  make them good after they approved the  bands.
