Looks like all this is a moot point.  The orginal poster has not responded since march. I think he was looking for a way to just drop the whole thing from the get go. He dumped the whole thing way too fast for someone that really wanted to operate. Or the post was a troll from the start!!!!!

Oh well

Try another Blue Ray player; they are very inexpensive now. Sonys are pretty good.

I have cable TV and Internet. One TV is 20ft below the 2-el quad. No RFI with 1 KW. With same cable, my neighbor has severe Internet and TV disruptions when I point my quad in their direction. Also with a  dipole on 80m. I purchased special cable box + wireless gateway because those provided by company frequently dropped out. Also, I used to have a TV susceptible to RF.

Susceptible boxes may be also those that generates lots of interference to you. So getting rid of those may be a good deal in the end.

Unfortunately my neighbor is old and does not let anyone in.

Not to be unsympathetic and a "bad" Ham, but if you do not get cooperation from your neighbor and you don't bother your equipment; forget about it. Better than half the time it is poor instalations that have interference problems and you can't be responsible for fixing their mess up.
