I have some of the symptoms of Parkinsons so I will never be able to copy by hand or type 25 wpm--my fingers simply won't do it although I did pass 5 wpm but 5 min of copy is about my limit.  I am looking for good software for reading code.  I have also purchased a single lever bencher paddle and I am looking for a pc program to practice sending cw without going on air.  I am not looking for freebies--just good quality

  Try CWComm for sending practice:

  And CwGet for decoding:

Jesse, there is a very good program for CW by Polar Electric called MRP40 and is about the best I have ever used. They have been in the business for many years.
Here is the link:
www.polar-electric.com/Morse/MRP40-EN

It isnt free but there is a free trial period.
Hope this is what you are looking for.

Jesse

Might I also suggest that as you progress in your cw abilities you will undoubtedly get to a point that you will not need to write down what you hear anymore but be able to converse only with your ears and key.  I would keep your ears tuned and mind sharp still copying the code and rely only on an aid as little as possible.  Good luck and welcome to HF
