The subject says it all. I've read the reviews for both but it isn't clear if one is better than the other. Has anybody used both?

Had both.  The FT8900 liked the CR8900 just ever so slightly more.  On the FT-857 about equal.  The CR8900 looks a little cleaner without the tuning stub hanging off the side.

Thanks, from the reviews they looked about the same. I thought about two antennas and a diplexer but I don't think there is enough activity on 6 and 10 meters to warrant that.
