I am looking for a antenna switch that has the selector switch on the front panel very much like a MFJ antenna tuner, My antenna farm is producing a bumper crop and I would prefer a switch that has the knob on the front panel with antenna and transmitter connections on the back. was thinking of making one but would prefer that someone else work out the kinks
Thanks
George

Some switches are made like that.  On the used marked, there were Waters "Protax" switches that had all the connections out the back.

Probably the finest manual coax switch ever made is the Bird 74 family; they all have connectors out the back.  New they are very expensive, but surplus they can be found for about $100 or so:

Bottom of page A-D has a desk top switcher.  Not quite elegant, but very good quality.

I have the MFJ-4726 6X6 switch with its remote control switch.  Works great.  The MFJ-4726/RC remote switch mounts on my operating bench, and the main MFJ-4726 switch mounts under my desk.  I have a review of this in the "Product Reviews" section of my website at www.ad5x.com.
