PSK Fest this weekend!

Just a reminder for those who like it short and sweet that the PSK Fest contest sponsored by the PODXS 070 Club starts Fri at 0000z in the US. Good way to work some new states and countries on PSK. Exchange is call, signal report, and QTH (State, VE prov, or DXCC).

When I first tried PSK31, many years ago, my first contact was with a 070 member, and he asked me for something, state, serial nbr, something, explaining that he was in a 070 contest and wanted to count the exchange for contest points.

I told him and then APOLOGIZED for interrupting his contesting.  He replied:  "No problem--PODXS contests tend to be pretty relaxed and low-pressure."   I knew right then that I'd enjoy the 070 Club--and I do.

RTTY RU on PSK is a huge waste of time! Unless of course you think working 2 or 3 guys an hour is fun. Very and I mean VERY few guys use PSK during this contest.
