from  tag on my set..    double ple double throw  slid switch.....

black wire     sw  NO
blue  common
red     NC        this is if  inline switch is included

violet NC
shield to  mic and  switch common..     (PTT would be  shield to violet to  unshort the mic to
allow  audio..   prevent   vox  use  if  violet is used.)
white  is    mic  hot.

green  and yellow  are  8 ohm speakers...

1320S  has only  one  head phone..
1320   1210 and  610   have  dual  earphones

mic  is dynamic   low impedance.. works fine on  kenwood ts180s...

UOA:  I also have an old Telex headset with boom mic.  Wanted to use it with my TS-830S.  Earphones worked fine but the mic element was the wrong impedance.

I bought a Heil HC-4 element (for DX) and wired it into the boom mic housing.  Fit perfect!  I then build a stereo audio processor that goes between my TS-830s and the Telex.  I opened the earphones and all and separated them and rewired them for stereo.  Now I have a great headphone/mic setup.

I doubt if you will ever get a schematic for the Telex.  I don't know if they're even in business.  Just open it and follow the color coded wires.  Not complicated at all.  Good luck.

UOA:  My Telex headset/boom mic was easy to open.  The headphone speakers are easy to remove by taking out two screws on each one.  The mic is two pieces with a ring that screws down on both pieces holding them together.  Perhaps yours is different.

Just remember one thing.  If a man put it together, a man can take it apart!  Sometimes it's good to have a bottle of super glue handy though.   Cheesy
