I need them too. No spots yet. Hrani is there, so hopefully it will be his usual first class operation.

Six stations They need about 30! Great news if it works out. WOW! Good luck to the ops (safety first!) An outstanding team of CW ops!

Sure glad I completely revamped and improved my antenna system on all bands just this past January!
VOACAP says there will be 6 hours of propagation to the West Coast on the high bands. Hopefully - the low bands will be good during the grey line - the way TO4E was way back when.
I also have been hearing the middle east very well lately at night on 20M. I will still consult the Voodoo DX Catcher - since it worked so well for #330.

That is a darn great team they have assembled. Hrane, Paul and Krassey are three of the best! At least I should be able to HEAR these guys . Competition will be fierce! GL to all. Wonder when they will be QRV?? Gene AF3Y

This morning 4O/IW3FWT was mis-spotted as 7O/IW3FWT on 17m. You could just imagine what happened next 73, Jonathan W6GX

I snagged 7O1YGF on CW and SSB during the time they were active. I thought it was only going to be good for a small piece of wallpaper until the ARRL finally certified it. I'd love to get Yemen on RTTY, though.

Well..I'm about as ready equipment-wise as I can be..and have 3 weeks vacation left. .Those guys know how to handle the crowd..so..should be OK.. Oh..I did see the word "Spiderbeam" mentioned on their web site. I'm hoping Glorioso and Spratly were just a coincidence, as far as crappy signals and antennas go. This will hopefully show how it's done... 73'.. Tom N3ZC

From the team: "The operation will get started at 21:00Z on April 30 and will go on until 21:00Z May 15. There are 11 operators on Socotra right now with more to join them later and some leave on earlier dates." John AE5X http://www.ae5x.com/blog
