If you own and have used a Buddipole, what do you think of it?

Thank you.

I have owned one for several years and, in general, I like it.  It is no substitute for a full-sized permanently mounted antenna, but for portable work and experimentation it is quite good.

I live in an apartment and I use it as something I can put up, use, and take down before the management complains.  I frequently use it in a vertical configuration.

Be sure to anchor the tripod or you'll break a whip if it falls over.

Hi Larry,

Have you checked the eham.net Product Reviews - there are over 200 reviews for Buddipole products; YouTube has numerous videos, and as KC7YE pointed out there are tons of info on the Buddipole users group.

Those are your best sources of information.  Often, you can email users who have a similar setup as you do for their individual pointers/hints.
