That is an easy frequency to build direct conversion receivers for because crystals for 10.140 MHz are readily available from ESS http://www.expandedspectrumsystems.com/prod4.html
The very simplest approach is a direct conversion receiver that offers no sideband suppression.

Another approach is direct conversion but with the phasing method to null out the opposite side.
