Im looking to get this antenna when i get my mobile setup. But there is little info on it. Has anybody ever used it before? If so, how does it compare to other 1/4 wave antennas?

It is just another standard, run of the mill, magnetic 1/4 wave antenna.

I have 2 of them and they are excellent.  Well worth the money of you dont like drilling holes in cars like me.  Ive never had an issue with one flying off and ive been on several multi hour/interstate speed trips with mine.  I always get crystal clear reports.  just be sure to get the straight cut when you trim it and cut it for the middle of the band.

Jacob, a WORD OF ADVISE.
Terms like "Excellent, Good Reports, Good Audio" are all RELEVANT!
Relevant to who is giving the report, and what His/Her likings happens to be at that moment.
Before you go spending your hard earned cash, take a little bit of time to educate yourself on "Mobile Operation"
You can begin here ......

You will keep from having to do something two or three times before you get it right.
Invest a little bit of time learning your craft, the rewards are Tremendous

Knowledge is Power.
