I'm working on a preamp / PTT control box for a boom mounted dynamic microphone to be used with an FT990 and 751A.   Anyone have suggestions on a PCB design that is balanced in, switchable hi-z, balanced out?   Low noise and RF immunity are requirements.

A second balanced line out would be great (recording or streaming)

Have a look at http://sound.westhost.com/projects.htm This isn't a ham radio site but the guy running it seems to know a lot about high quality audio.

Interesting - I need to look at the price points for his 66 project.  http://sound.westhost.com/project66.htm
