I'm using the rain gutters of my home as my antenna and it really works well, however the receive is terrible.
At the back of my 775dsp there is an rx antenna port but there is a cable from it to another
port.
Which port do I use?

Thanks

When you use the same antenna for receiving and transmitting, use the upper PL259 connector ANT1 for the antenna or antenna tuner and keep the short cable between Rx_in and Rx_out in place.

That cable is to insert there a preamplifier or roofing filter or what have you. When you don't use those extras keep the connecting cable on the low side of the cabinet in place between Rx_in and Rx_out.

When you use a separate receiving antenna , you can omit that cable between Rx_in and Rx_out connectors and use Rx_in as antenna input for  the receiving antenna.

page 14 and 15 of your manual shows it.
