My advice to everyone who is still waiting for a QSL card is to contact Bernhard from the JX5O team..He might be able to help.....I contacted him last fall when Stan was having issues, and he was most helpful....you can get his callsign on the JX5O web site, as he is on qrz.com....

I didn't find Bernhard or his call on the JX5O web site. I did find an April notice about sending out PREMIUM OQRS cards. I did a normal OQRS QSL request, and no card to date. 73 Tony N5UD /M |

I had originally sent a direct request to Stan. 2 weeks ago I did an OQRS and thought for sure that would get something going.
Still waiting.

 I did a OQRS a year ago today and sent money via PayPal for a SPECIAL card. Still no card. Sent email inquiry a couple weeks ago and no response. !!!! Wish they would a least post a status on their WEB site !!!!!!!

Well, today I received a reply from Bernie. He seemed helpful and wants to resolve the situation. He is going to contact Stan and try to get the QSL out. He asked for QSO details. I also passed along when I sent the paypal transaction as well as the transaction ID (to show that I indeed paid). Perhaps in the next couple of weeks I'll have a JX5O QSL in the mail. |

I got the LOTW confirmation but no card. I guess that is fine, but I think I want a card from every new one.

I received a LOTW confirmation myself, thank goodness for that as it was a ATNO for me at the time. However I would still like a card myself. it's not right to just receive a LOTW confirmation after using OQRS and paying to offset the card/postage plus whatever donation a person would like to make.

Just got a quick reply from Bernie and he said he would look into the problem. I suggested that if QSL processing is behind, the JX5O site should be updated to reflect the current schedule. Email requests to Stan and Bernie should slow with posted updates.
