I have always looked forward to Vlad's QSL cards, and some have said that they have received SU9VB cards only weeks after working Vlad. I know he has been in Egypt for quite some time now - so obviously he has had time to get the SU9 QSL's printed and the documentation for his stay there.
I would expect that he will need to submit his paperwork to the ARRL and print cards for E40VB, so I am opening this thread as a placeholder for when people start receiving his card. I submitted my request using Paypal, and have been waiting to hear from the ARRL that E40VB has been accepted for DXCC. I do know Vlad seems to have stopped using LOTW.

I see that the best way to QSL is direct, using Paypal, but there is no information on the email address to use for Paypal. Just what is the procedure and how does the Paypal payment get tied to the direct QSL request?

I sent a PayPal to: ua4whx@udm.ruWhich he lists on his UA4WHX QRZ.com page. He confirmed that he has received my payment - and it sounds like it will be quite a while (months?) until he gets back home and can get the QSL's out. The receipt I got from PayPal is the name of Vlad's Travel Agency - which he owns.

I am going home a long way... He sure is. Nothing here for E40VB (yet). I see spots now from KAZAKHSTAN (UN/UA4WHX).

Hmmmm - you should email him and ask. I couldn't find on any of his QRZ pages where he lists an amount. I sent a nice little donation - quite a few times more than what any postage would be.

I accidentally paid him twice for a card (I forgot to mark off I sent payment. He asked if I wanted a refund, I said no thanks and consider it a donation Nothing yet hear but I imagine sometime down the road we'll see them. It's a ATNO for me!

I am patiently waiting for E40VB but already have the QSL from Egypt. It is in the DXCC envelope waiting to get 18 more confirmed. I have worked 175 but just want to get the first 100!

Tony, thanks for the info about Vlad, E40VB. I had sent via PayPal and even an e-mail asking about info, but have not heard from him. Now I can just wait like the rest of you!
