With little competition I worked three ATNOs in the last 24 hours (FS, TX5, P29).  On TX5 and P29 I worked them via simplex with hardly any pileups.  Perhaps the big guns were all busy assembling their Steppir DB42 purchased from Dayton  Cheesy

run of the mill countries dont really generate pile ups, since they have all been worked on dozens of bands and all modes already, many times.

KF6ABU is correct - run of the mill, but depending on your setup (QRP with an attic antenna on 40M) it could be a big thrill indeed Grin.  Big guns (along with thousands of others like me) were operating the ARRL VHF/UHF Contest. 73, Rich, K3VAT

I connected with 6 new countries this weekend and could not believe my luck.

Maybe we should have ARRL VHF contests twice a month?

I spoke with the guy who owns Directive Systems yesterday (they make VHF/UHF antennas) and he said that he worked 66 new grids on 6M in EU on Sunday from Maine. Also said that he has 4 stacked yagis and a KW.
