I was trying to work the WW WPX contest last night and this afternoon.  The speeds were way, way beyond my capabilities.  Having a computer decoding helped me, but CW is the one digital mode where "wetware rules".

I want to thank the people who dug my QRP signal out of the noise.  You didn't know it, but I was working last night from my apartment balcony, and today from a city park in North Vancouver, BC.

I want to thank the people who slowed down to more-or-less match my 15 wpm keying speed.

Based on this experience, we may bitch on the Internet, but we're mostly gentlemen on the air.  I was impressed.
