Does anyone know if the rubber ring on the VFO knob on a FT-900 is the same as any other Yaesu radio? Mine is missing and Yaesu parts say they no longer have them since the radio is discontinued. Any help much appreciated.
Thanks,

Heck, you may have missed a perfectly good opportunity to swipe one at Field Day last weekend.

Maybe next year.   Wink

just checked my  ft980. l a wide belt.
I wasd thinking of suggesting  gettng  proper length  tape recorder or  cassette   drive belt and glueit on.

maybe a couple  side by side.

or   cut one from a  bicycle inner tube.

home brew... thats the proper way...

Thanks for the suggestion. This knob has a diameter of 34mm and the depth is 20mm. I'll probably have to just make one. Another person recommended a series of O Rings which would probably work better than anything save the original!
