Our B&W folded dipole was damaged by a nearby lightning strike.  The antenna is physically OK, however the terminating resistor was fried.
The balun is still OK.  I really don't want to buy a new antenna just for the resistor.  Anyone know its value?  I know it is a non-inductive load.

I don't know specifically what B&W uses for their T2FD antennas, but here's a link that might help you sort it out:  http://www.hard-core-dx.com/nordicdx/antenna/wire/t2fd.html

I believe the termination resistor is 800 ohms and the balun has a 16:1 ratio.

The resistor is 600 ohms, part number LD7.  Go here to order: http://www.bwantennas.com/pricelist.htm.

Surplus sales of Nebraska has a 225w 600 ohm non-inductive for $75

Isn't there version of that antenna that used stainless or some other kind of wire in place of the resistive element?  Something like that might be home-brewable fairly economically.
