I'm having an absolute blast with this ....been working on my station and slowly but surely it's coming together! Grin

Tower's been up for a month now...with the Hygain-Ex14 at 45ft, 5ft above it a Solarcon Imax 2000 all rotated by a HAM IV...

Between the work/traveling schedule I finaly got the tower grounded properly, lightning protecting installed and the cable entry finished this weekend. Wink

Now it's time to work inside. New toy(s) arrived this week...LOL.....got a very nice TS-940SAT (w/piexx), and a Gap hear it module.... I'm still keeping my TS-530S though....

Still only a "Techie" but working on the next level.......man is this fun!

Been sayin all along Bart, "The fun is the preparations!"  But, understand the fun will continue.  Good luck.  It is indeed a blast!

There is always something new in amateur radio.  Anytime your operations become "mundane" its simply because you haven't tried something else.  We got digital communications, emergency communications, DX, CW, SSB, FM voice, QRO, QRP, QRPp ........

I agree with Al.  The fun is in the preparations.  Operating what you have prepared can also be a blast.

Only 37 years here.  Lots I still haven't done.
