I was going to get a Hermes board simply because I love SDR receivers. The ANAN-10 looks nice and it'll be upgradable.

Maybe I finally found an excuse to upgrade my license. But then again I hate talking to people.

ANAN 10 looks like a well designed package. I will order mine soon.

The only disappointing thing with the design is the lousy 12 volt PA. A high voltage FET design would have been a much better match for the excellent IMD performance of the Hermes. It will just about be impossible
to develop a clean 100 or 200 watt  PA chain with such  poor PA design. The IMD figures for the devices used are very poor.

Why don't you design a clean PA and contribute your design to HPSDR so others can benefit?

What all software can operate your device?  Are virtual serial ports supported such that I can do data modes without cabling?  Are virtual audio devices supported such that I can use computer audio without using cables?

I see thanks, theres a lot of info there that I missed.  But I dont see anything about USB or firewire, save a quick few lines about a "USB blaster for bootloader"  Do the virtual serial ports work over the ethernet?
