I bought a Comet SMA-24 to use on my Baofeng UV-5R.  I'm wondering if it is safe to bend it into a U-shape to store it in my small case.

Thanks,
Dave

It's supposed to be "super flexible", whatever that means.  Try asking the distributors, or the factory.

So, I've had it bent into a U-shape off and on for a couple days (including over night and while in my bag during the work day) and  it seems to pop back.  Supposedly it's made out of same stuff those eyeglass frames you can bend are made of.
