Small point:  These are keys not keyers.  They are two different items.

Keyers are the electronic gizmos to which you connect paddles.

The stapler key looks to be quite practical and ideally suited to stealth QSOs in the office; KX1 in the desk drawer and tiny earbud would complete the set-up.  

I wonder what could be used for an antenna?  Maybe a bentwood hat stand with a loading coil would round the outside and a capacity hat on the top!

Homebrew is good for everybody. i do prefer the cheese slicer turned into a perfect morse key. The toster is great a key. Big creativity in sauna land.
