I need to make an Riser / extension from my Breedlove mount to the top of my roof line, So I can place a fold over joint in my whip.  I'm running the SGC / 102" combo. and trees and low drooping power lines dictate I lay it down while driving the Suburbs.  Can I use threaded Aluminum or brass rod?

Hustler makes two lengths of foldover mobile mast segments - sounds like just what you need.

I wouldn't use a Hustler mast because the shortest one with a fold over is 50 some inches long. As someone mentioned, Breedlove does make a fold over which will work fine. A short mast may be purchased from any one of a dozen sources. Wilson make several from 6 inches, to 4 feet.

I have a joint to make the mast, and Hank recommended using the Brass.  That's why I'll buy stuff from him again.
