at50 antenna tuner problem with xmt

I always wanted an AT-50 for my TS-50 and I got one. It seemed to be tuning every band as I went through them but after about a week, I was getting no output levels on my TS-50. I dsiconnected the tuner and ran straight to antenna and the TS came back to life. The AT-50 is not indicating any malfunction but then, it doesn't really have any visual provision for that.  I am baffled. Anybody else have this problem?

hi Cleveland,

can you check the coax jumper from the ts-50 to the at-50?
perhaps it has a bad connection at the pl259's.

If you attach dummy load to the at-50 will the problem repeat?

Have you replaced the lithium battery in the ts-50 recently?
Sometimes when these batteries reach end of life the radio
can develop problems that are solved with a new battery.
