I think the first time I ordered from High Sierra Online ( http://www.hamcq.com/about-us/info_1.html ) was when I wanted some bulkhead passthroughs for coaxial cable.  High Sierra was the only place I found them, and at a good price besides.  (I saw the passthroughs in their QST ad a while back.)

Since then I've ordered from them a good bit; they've got a nice selection of things, including some that are hard to find elsewhere.  They've got a "discount club" where you get an email every now and then with some special prices on goodies--some real bargains show up there.

I find the High Sierra Online website easy to use, their prices are good, and the shipping has always been lightning-fast.  Great customer service, too--Jim, W6LG, pays a lot of attention to making sure customers are satisfied.

Update:  I placed my latest order on Saturday afternoon.  I paid for the cheapest shipping, USPS "priority mail."  I got home from work on Monday afternoon, today, and the order was there.    I'd call that darned fast shipping!

Same here, I was looking for a crimping set for coax connectors and they have a really nice one for under a hundred bucks, and I also go a deal on some LED flash lightd and other stuff.  They are not just  screwdriver antennas any more, and nice folks too

I need to put a note in the "product reviews" section for that "raincoat tape" in the High Sierra ads.  I ordered a roll just to see what it was like, and that stuff is GREAT.  It stretches, it makes a really superb seal, and you can unwind and reuse it--take the coax junction apart, do maintenance, and then use the same piece (AFAICT) of "raincoat tape" to seal the junction back up water-tight.  This tape looks GREAT!

I've been using the "raincoat tape" for lots of outside antenna connections over the last 6 weeks--this stuff is GREAT.  Jim, the Big Chief at High Sierra Online, has checked with me a couple of times by email since my last order, to see if I was satisfied.  (I *am*, you betcha!)  Great customer service, great products, great prices, lightning-fast shipping!   Couldn't be happier; High Sierra Online is as good as it gets!

I posted a review of their crimper-kit in the "products" section a few weeks ago, after I had one for a few weeks.  I've been soldering connections for years and I had never really tried a crimper before.  The crimper is GREAT.  Took me about two tries to learn to use it, and now every connection is fast and perfect.  Works great on coax connectors, powerpoles, ring terminals, all sorts of things.  The kit has a crimper, several dies, wire-strippers, and cutters, all in one neat carrying case.  Once I started using the crimper, I realized how easy and convenient it is.  And as always, GREAT service from High Sierra Online.  Great people!
