Hmmm, Lockeed made them in the 50's....you mean they're going to operate mobile aerial from a U-2 spy plane while in flight???

They made the Lockheed T33A Shooting Star.

There are a few others that haven't been on for a while but would undoubtedly command a lot of attention. San Felix is at #19, JD/m and JD/o are always a challenge for NA, TI9 hasn't been on for a while (although that's one I don't need anywhere myself), VK9X rsees activity every year but rarely anything beyond a vacation-style operation. It's been a while since 9U and 5U have been on as well.

Only need San Felix and Christmas (which is QRV now), out of that group.  I hope to land VK9X shortly with a little luck this time . 73, Gene AF3Y

Well, I'm good with Banaba.  I sure need a lot more band fills for T33 than Clipperton, which like most on this list, I have from daylight to dark.  I remember stringing up an end-fed longwire to work Clipperton on 160m years ago, one that turned out to be very difficult to tune.  I spent a day stringing the thing around the yard, up and down the tower and thru trees, wherever I could find a support.  Evening came and I went in the house and worked 'em first call.  After all that work, I thought "That's it ?!?"

Anyway I'm still wondering what a Lockheed Banaba is?

I worked 5U in 2008. According to ClubLog it used to be pretty active until then, and then it suddenly went dark. JD/O I actually worked and confirmed this year.

It's a real shame that some entities aren't active. Banaba supposedly has a permanent population and they are not like P5 or 7O or uninhabited like KP1/5.
