External keyers, helpful or not?

I have an IC-7600 and struggled with the internal keyer as it is set to Iambic Mode B and this can't be changed. I'm used to A mode and so I purchased some external keyers. My Begali key gets used with a WinKeyer, a CMOS Super Keyer II, and a Heath SA-5010 uMatic keyer. I like keyers

Hello Steve!  I use the Idiom Press C4 and the K5.  The reason I use external keyers:  I have a paddle and a straight key hooked up to each rig at all times.  This enables a quick change to the straight key to swap SKCC numbers during a QSO
