Before you build a loop remember 40 to 15 meters and a 25 to 325 pf cap is needed.
A higher then 325 pf if you go with a 4 foot loop.
Use solid wire and remember the loop generates most voltage on the 20 meter b and buy many hams have used small poly caps with 7 watts and had no problems.

I never made this post.
The only post I ever made about the mag loop is about how much steel I have around me and still work a lot of DX but since the bands have been down I have been experimenting with  different antennas
