Sold my Icom 718 to a guy and he has a problem with it. Says it transmits in USB ok but will not transmit on LSB on sideband? What did I do to make this happen? Worked ok for me, but had to have pushed something in error prior to shipment. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Check out what he isactually doing. It sounds like finger trouble. And as almost always in such cases: If all else fails, read the manual.

Did the buyer read the manual?

Can he get it into LSB mode?

Mode selection USB/LSB is on page 20. If LSB is not accessible, it might have been locked out. See page 44. Might be a good idea to have him do a CPU reset, page 53.

You did sell him the manual, didn't you? If not he should download it: http://www.icomamerica.com/en/downloads/Default.aspx?Category=20

This shows how easy it is to be discredited for nothing.
