I am going to buy a Rig Blaster Advantage interface for my IC-7000 does anyone have any experience with this setup? I know the mic for the Icom sends a digital signal to the radio so you have to unplug the mic for the interface to work (per West Mountian's web site) but I can live with that. All opinions are welcome.   Mike KK4AH

I have no experience with the Advantage cause I use the Plug n Play.  I don't have to remove the microphone to use it and can go to voice with out having to do anything to my set up.  You have a computer and the computer has a sound card in it.  Why pay extra $$ for something you already have?  Take a look at the PnP.  I got mine working with the 7000 with HRD, even using the 6 pin connector.

Good luck and hope to see you on the water fall.
