I have several light duty antenna rotors that use (5) conductor flat ribbon cable. I have not been able to locate any of this once common cable. Does anyone know where I can obtain some? Angry  W0NTS

Dennis -

I just checked, and it appears that Radio Shack (corp. catalog) only sells 3-conductor rotor cable.

The Wireman, Pres Jones - N8UG sells a 6-conductor rotor cable (for Yaesu rotors), that will work.
It's not ribbon/flat cable, but standard circular cable.

I did find this wire source on the Internet, for 5-wire ribbon rotator cable (Eagle).

Take a look at underground sprinkler cable.  For example, Lowes.com item no. 391364 -- 5 conductor 18 gauge.

I have used 5 conductor thermostate wire. It is usually 18 or 20 gauge, good size. You can get it at Home Depot or any HVAC supply house. It worked very well for me. 73 Jim W5JJG
