Hi all,

As a newbie I have a question about using the Arrow antenna with a FT-60R. Since the FT-60R caters for split frequency, when I order my Arrow it looks like I will need the duplexer if I only want to use 1 radio, right? Also, I know the 60R is not full duplex, but what degree of hearing the downlink should I have with split frequency?

I used that same setup. Order the Arrow Antenna with the built in duplexer, or order an Elk antenna which doesn't need one. You can program the FT-60 for the FM satellites, but will not be able to work full duplex. For full duplex you'll have to get another ht. I highly recommend full duplex, especially for SO-50.
