On my amplifier learning quest:

I have both of the mentioned amplifiers. The ALS600 has a board with a series of low pass filters
that are selected based on the frequency selection switch.

My question is: does the AL80B have the same type of board or a single wide range low pass filter?

Neither, because it has a tuned pi-L network which you manually tune for resonance.  Its harmonic rejection is very good, no need for additional low-pass filtering.

The ALS600 hasn't anything like that and needs switched low pass filters to meet FCC requirements.
