I know Rich(KY6R) had a topic on this in 2004. I thought of bringing that one up.I know Rich whould have got a chuckle out of it.

Just started to do the 2012 survey and noticed this and a few others that stick out.

I know EZ7ST goes to UA9LM and EZ8AQ went to another russian station. Sent a few times and no luck.Between the 2 I had 5 qso's. But 5 is like 0 if you have no card.

There should be somewhere to look at what stations you cant get a card from.
 I mean geez.Its been 3 times I sent and qso's are from 1999 and 2003.

The other one that sticks with me is the so called Contest station of 9A1A. I see where they put my money.

I don't know about the EZ stations (fortunately I have one) but I too have been stiffed by 9A1A.

I have been much more successful using IRCs for Russian addresses than green stamps. In fact most suggest IRCs.

I have two confirmed QSOs from EZ8AQ:

2001-02-09 on 12m SSB; card sent to DJ1MM on 2005-10-13 and received on 2005-11-19 (may have been a second attempt)

2002-02-15 on 15m RTTY; card sent to DJ1MM on 2002-02-18 and received on 2002-04-13

Both cards were approved for DXCC credit.

I have never worked EZ7ST.

Other confirmations from Turkmenistan have come from EZ8AW, EZ8BO, EZ8CQ, UH6E/RC2AR, and UH8EA; all were QSL cards.

Oh yeah - I remember how "elusive" EZ was, and how even more "elusive" it was to get the QSL.

The QSO was eerily easy - I caught him right as he came on the air and had no pileup whatsoever.

I'll have to do a DXCC Sleuth on Turkmenistan - it is one of the more "mysterious" entities for sure . . .

I have UH8ED as my only EZ confirmation. I have a card from EZ4XX but its not counted by the ARRL. I worked that one in the CQWWCW a few years back and that call is still listed in the CQ results for 2004. In fact EZ4XX holds the SOAB Low Power record for EZ in the CQWWCW contest. I think the ARRL had some question as to whether the op was actually in EZ. I don't know if it was all figured out, but it would be nice to know. I dug that station out of a mess of stations on 20 meters with my HW-9.
If it was a pirate, he sure went through alot of trouble having QSL cards printed up and answering them. As of now its one of my better QSOs on my way to Pirate DXCC.

So, you really do like paper QSL-s. I do. Many ham's dont. We should not blame them, since QSL-ing is just a part of our great hobby. Printing cards is not a free lunch. There is no point in sending your paper QSL to someone who is not interested in card exchange. It would probably end up in some bureaus trashbin. So..what do you do about it? Whole idea here is to share the information stored in your local logger database with others - so when deciding wheter to send your paper QSL to a station you can take a look how others have received cards from that station. 'Sharing' means that volunteers can upload their exported adif files via this page. More uploads we have, the better the picture.

I have a card from Jenny EZ8AQ for a QSO in 2001. However I have very few QSOs with EZ and only a couple of QSL cards.
