Have gained access to several Hustler G7-150-1's (at no cost!!). The 150-1 is designed for 148-155 MHz. Haven't tried to piece them together yet, but everything appears to be there for at least two complete antennas.

Q1:  Does anyone have a link to any on-line assembly/tuning/maintenance documentation for the G7 series? My own searches have come up empty.

Q2:  Is there anything to consider other than extending the length in trying to convert these to 2M (centered on 146 MHz)?

Any and all comments welcomed.

The Hustler G7-150-1 model tunes 148-155 MHz antenna !!
Just adjust or add a bit of Wavelength to vertical radiator to lower Frequency.
(Wavelength inverse proportional to Frequency).
