I have a question about the instruction sheets on the MFJ-815B. Every instruction sheet on the internet for this meter shows a dual power level of 200 and 2000 watts. I know for a fact that these meters are 30 watts low and 300 watts high. This is true of everyone I have seen and the one I own. Why the discrepancy in power levels? Did MFJ make an error on there instructions, or are some of the later models with the same model number a higher wattage? I am just curious. The instructions on the 815B seem to be correct except for the power capability. I would appreciate any information someone might have on this meter instruction sheet.

Barry, I have had mine for 12 years, mine also shows the same as yours. I never really noticed it until you mentioned it here. MFJ is a little weird on the way they do things anyway as we all know. Good luck.

Very likely just a cut 'n paste typo in the manual.

Trust what's printed on the device.
