Anyone in the SF East Bay interested in forming a really loose knit DX club? Maybe just meet for breakfast once a month at Millies Kitchen in Lafayette - or The Ranch House in Moraga - or some place in Danville or Walnut Creek and swap war stories?

Sure. If you're taking a list I'm good on QRZ.COM.

Hi guys,
While I am not a hard-core DX chaser, I have managed to work a few stations.  I am in Antioch, so not too far from Danville.  Depending on the day of the week you guys meet, I would be interested in attending.  Primarily as a learning experience.
I'm good in QRZ also.

As soon as 7O6T is over, I will get the ball rolling. The next one I need isn't until November - ZL9HR. I just worked 7O6T last night - and have a good story about it for our first get together.

My son - who is an art student at CCA (and is KG6MXR) is designing a logo. My goal is to have the coolest logo - where everyone will join this "informal" DX Club just to get the shirt, jacket or hat - hi hi.

Imagine a devil with old fashioned headphones and a yagi in the background.

It will be fun to get together with other locals slogging it out in these massive pileups!

Thought I would bump this back up to the top.

Anything scheduled for the get together in the near future?

Thanks for reminding me. I am open for suggestions for where to meet on a monthly basis. Alamo seems to be the geographic center for all that have said they were interested. I did find one decent place for breakfast there.

I'm thinking maybe once a month Saturday at 8 AM?

Please email your suggestions - let me know what you think, and I will get this ball rolling for sure.

I haven't forgotten about this. I will most likely start looking more seriously into this in December / January, when I will have time. One thing that would be fun might be to do a Saturday or Sunday casual net on 75M in the morning.

You North Bay/East Bay guys are also very welcome at the Northern California DX Club meetings. I realize that it is a trek to come down to Cupertino for the meetings, but it would be great to see you guys. www.NCDXC.org
