I have a Yaesu FT-4700RH VHF/UHF transceiver. It has a problem. It looses its memory when shut off. When I set the frequencies up, and the power is on it works fine, but when I shut it off the frequencies go back to "000" and I have to  reset it again. This happens on both bands. I have changed the 3 volt memory battery, and this has not fixed the problem. I do not know if this is the right forum for this, but if anyone knows what the problem could be I would appreciate it?
I have also reset the main processor, again with no luck. I have the instruction manual and a full schematic for this radio. I know this is an obscure radio, but I hope someone out there knows something about it.
Thank you,
