I am currently using HamCap which is a freeware interface program to
VOACAP.

Hi,

I too use Hamcap, it seems to be pretty accurate, and the P2P graphs are a help as well.  I have a review with screen shots and an interesting overlay of PSK reporter's map over HamCap's map...  They match very well...  Review at:

Today was interesting. They came up on 80m SSB around East coast sunrise. Had the pileup within 5kcs and then kept
switching between ZL/VK, CA and then back to NA. May be that lasted for about 15 minutes and then they went
to 80m RTTY. Seriously Smiley . The entire coast to coast calling in 5Kcs.

Then later around 13:40Z, they were on 30m RTTY. Again a mad house. Too late for east coast. Signals were
weak. Hopefuly the mid-west and west coast are able to work them.

They should have come up and stayed on 80m cw , when they were originally there on 3513 at 0700Z. Would have
been more productive.

Thanks sir!!  I was very surprised at how close the graphs came out between PSK Reporter and Hamcap...  I would have expected them to be much further off than they were.  Again, thanks!
