Back in 1957-60, I had a 20-meter "bow tie" 2-element beam.
I was in Southern California at the time.
Anyone remember them?
Who manufactured the beam? Any info about it (specs, price back then)?

That was probably the Gonset bantam beam which was available in a 20-meter or a 15-meter model. It sold for $63 in 1959.

If you're curious about what could be the 10 / 11 Meter version of what you had, here's an assembly guide: http://www.bencher.com/pdfs/00246IZV.pdf

And the full list of all antenna manuals on the Bencher site: http://www.bencher.com/pdf_download.html

Have you considered how many wireless devices are in simultaneous use near PyeongChang, South Korea?  The TV coverage alone requires thousands.  Then add in the cell phones.  Talk about a pileup......!

Theres one for sale in the recent HRO catalog. Don't know the manufacturer (as the magazine is in the bathroom, at home, where I'm not).

Didn't know if you were interested in another one or just info about your old one.
