I need to replace the button cell memory backup battery for my FT50R.  There's nothing I can read on the old one, and don't want to rely upon some weak voltage measurement.

Could someone tell me what battery, or what voltage I need?

Thanks!

likely  a  CR 2032   .. can you make that outon the battery  now that you knowwhat to look for.  it is on the  neg side of the battery..the wide side.
also  bama   for books  diagrams..

Batteriesamerica.com  has   cr2032s  with tabs,,,, for about   3 bucks..  no minimum..

It is 3V lithium coin cell - no doubt about that.

Measure the diameter and thickness - that will tell you what CRxxxx model.

For example CR2032 is 20 mm dia 3.2 mm thick.

I know the FT-50 battery is smaller than 2032 - maybe a  1632, 1620, 1220 or 1216
