I was thinking about this.
How can we bring an end to this nonsense?

Can the ARRL do something about it?
Can we have ARRL establish a separate wing?
We can have a group of credible hams. I know know,
who can be a part of the team and can help in
indentifying the stations. This has to be a large
network though. Then once the evidence is
built up, the ARRL brings forth a civil action and
buries the moron in a legal dispute and pushes for
 jail time.

This should serve as a deterrent.

I am hoping that a similar move happens in Eu as well.

Yea, well i know you say me dream, but without
an action and initiative, it is going to be status-quo
and the attitude can only get worse with FCC getting sold out
to commercial interests. Such a shame!!!

Krish, I'm with you. I wish we had a bunch of SDRs on phased monopoles tied together via TCPIP so we could triangulate the culprits. All the time and money these DXers do to provide the DX community with a new one gets destroyed. It appears some smart people are doing it because I can see 10-20KHz swaths of noise QRming the DX station(s). Obviously a SDR type radio with some funky type of modulation. Nobody is going to do anything about it because there are "no resources" to do so. "WE" have to do it ourselves, somehow. It is only going to get worse. It should be "JAIL" for them, period. If you did this 50 years ago it would be treason. Grin LOL. It gets me that mad(so they are winning). My favorite life long hobby going down the tubes. I'm sure I speak for a lot of us DXers trying to fill up our log books. Are there any forums or sites dedicated to finding QRMers? May the radio gods destroy their wide band transmitters and melt their antennas. Smiley

A few years ago G3SXW I believe was putting forth a plan form a network to triangulate and identify stations who deliberately cause interference. I never heard any more about his plans so I don't know if the concept got off the ground.

I find it hard to believe that these stations continue to be unidentified but perhaps it's simply that those who know their identities don't step foward and share what they know.
