any issues to be aware of  from using this old amp with a new rig like the IC7600?

The Drake L4B has a 24vdc antenna relay, current perhaps 100 to 200ma.  Check to see if your radio can handle that switching.  The amp has a very good tuned input and should work just fine with the radio.   I am not sure how well they work on warc bands I never tried mine.  SOmeone else may be able to help with that.   I have used mine with many solid state radios on 80-10 with no problem, just be sure of the switching.

Be safe, buy a relay buffer to key the amplifier.  I did for my L4B which I use on my FT-2000.
