13 colonies was good.

I enjoyed the N0D end of the world event that just happened - really fun.

I also enjoy working the museum ships weekend which aren't always special event call signs but a special event none-the-less.

Route 66 On The Air and SKYWARN Recognition Day. Both events had numerous stations to contact.

I would say any one of the several Titanic Night to Remember stations.

I always enjoy working the K3Y stations during the special event put on by the Straight Key Century Club each January:

13 Colonies - The standard by which all other SE's should emulate.

Certain other SE's should learn from 13 Colonies.  Enough ops so there isn't a problem with no shows or late shows, as with the other big SE's.

OK folks.  13 Colonies it is as the top SES of 2012, with  another 5 or so runners ups.

Nice job, 13 Colonies!

I will put in a vote for The International Lighthouse / Lightship Weekend. Nice to get the gang out in the open air near the ocean. The Ocean - Monmouth A.R.C. get the Sandy Hook Lighthouse on the air. But after Super Storm Sandy we may have to move to another lighthouse this year. So look for either N2MO or K2USA the third weekend in August.

Museum Ships On The Air and the Route 66 group were my faves.

I am about 115 miles from the Speedway. It's tricky to work them especially since they love 20m.

I might suggest  one 40m station and one 20/15/10m station for Indy.  Like you said, I  almost never hear them here in Ohio.
